This is a story of a young man getting it up the ass by a big name company. About a year and a half ago i purchased a HP 210 Photosmart digital camera for $160.00. It could have been better but well served my purposes. It took really nice photo with nice enough quality... i was very happy about it. Exactly one year and one month later it decided to stop working... one month after the warranty expired... i then started to very upset... but decided not to contact hp about my camera until a couple of months later because i was in the midst of moving. A couple of weeks ago.. i finally took the time out of my day to contact the well known big name company about my camera. After many minutes of listening to automated phone services.. i finally had the ear of a lady named mary. she had a pleasant voice... she probably had two kids and an abusive husband... but still a pleasant voice nonetheless. We went on and on for about 20 min going over serial numbers and what have you... then she told me.... the cost of getting the camera worked on/ replaced. Read carefully... remember i bought this item for $160.00. To replace the item it would cost me $230.00 plus shipping. This is not a typo. I became very furious. I began asking her "what kind of world is her company living in?" It's all really kind of a blur. I remember saying, "this doesnt make sense" alot during the conversation I also remember asking mary if her company lived in upside down world and if everyone dance on cotton candy. Though i knew it wasnt her fault that i was getting the anal raping of a life time from her company... just i didnt care. She acted very nice about the whole thing.. and now that i think about it... i feel.... not really bad.. but maybe she told her husband about this guy going ape shit on her at work today. but getting back to the story at hand. I didnt even get to the part, that you couldnt even download updated drivers for this digital camera on the website.... that it says you must buy them on a cd and have them shipped to you.. for a $15 price. which is absolutely ridiculous. At the end of my ranting phone conversation with mary... i then began to cool down and just fucking bite the bullet... i told her i was sorry and i knew it wasnt her fault.. but asked her did she see my point of view... indeed she did... or so she said.
